Hi. So my car was booted in Emory Village in Decatur, GA. Their policy is that they boot the car if you leave the property. I never left the property and have receipts and witnesses to prove as much. After the managers of two stores talked to the guy doing the booting, he still refused to take of the boot. I then called the police. After hearing both of our sides, which were reducible to my word vs. his word, they then looked at the evidence--the receipts and talked to the managers--and told the guy to take the boot off. At this point he said "no" to the police. After finding his business license, which, the police informed me, was sketchy--the posted signs around Emory Village listed a different company--they told me that they could not take off the boot but that what was happening was reducible to legalized mugging. They strongly suggested that I file a lawsuit...

Thanks for your question.File yourself here in small claims for the amount that you have lost in damages to these guys.I agree with you that you were wrongfully booted.Keep all your recepits including losses here and go tell it to the judge.
