Question

I have a Rheem Model # RBHA-17J11NFHAI nad have a Honeywell RTH7500D Thermostat connected to it. It worked fine all summer turning the AC on and off. Now it will not turn on heat. I followed the wiring instructions that came with the thermostat. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Yes, I need to know which wiring terminals that you have wires on, on the new thermostat. This is usually an easy fix.

Thanks

Mark,
I got the heat working last night. When using the heat pump markings, the White was connected to the AUX. I moved it over to the O/B terminal. I did have the blue wire there. So now, where in the heck does the blue wire go? By the way, I examined the wiring inside the unit and the blue wire goes right to the outside unit. The white connects to W/BK and W/BL and W on the inside unit.

Mark,
Yes, I believe that this is a heat pump. It appears that the BL and Y wires run directly from the tstat out to the outside unit. All other wires (BR, G, W, and R) go to the inside unit (some of them may also run to the outside as well). Let me know if you need me to take the cover off and check to see what runs where.

Thanks!
