Hi,

What will you be using to tell the forced air system that hot water is available ?

Thanks

I dont have anything telling the gaspack the water is available. I just need the blower in the gaspack to come on when the 2nd thermastsat calls for heat plus at the same time turn the pump on the boiler on it dont take a few seconds for the water to get there. I was wanting to keep the blower still opperational with the gaspack to so i will most likely need to us a 2nd relay for the blower and pump without the rest of the unit of the gaspack coming on. If I set the 1st thermastat on 60 and set the 2nd thermastat on 70 so the boiler will be heating till it gets low on wood then the temp gets down to 60 then the gaspack will kick in. If posible. thanks Mark XXX X XXXX XXX

there is an aquastat on the boiler for the fan for the fire box i need the fan in my gaspack to come on when my thermastst calls for heat in the house. the gas pack is intertherm the boiler is home made i built myself.

Answer

Hi,

The fan is easy enough just run the R terminal from the gaspack to the R on the thermostat and then from the W terminal on the thermostat to the G terminal on the gaspack, that will turn the fan on when the thermostat calls for heat , getting the pump on you need some type of relay, Do you have any control on the pump right now ?

This could have been done easier with a strap on aquastat and only one thermostat, in case you aren't to far along on this,

Thanks

Mark
