Hello XXXXXX,
Welcome to Just Answer.
We get these type of questions often and they are very hard to answer accurately; the costs could vary so much due to the many variables involved that can influence the total project. Some include project location, how well the market is doing, total square footage of area being finished, ease of accessibility to the tile location, tile material choices/ patterns, existing obstacles to have to work around, existing subfloor condition, etc.
It would be difficult to give you a straight figure, without all of the variables being known; I hope you can understand this.
The best approach that I have found to work, is to set up appointments with 3 referred contractors and have each come over at separate times to look at your plans and ideas, in which they will be able to develop a price to do the work. They will be able to determine what all the variables are and in turn give you an accurate estimate. You will then be able to compare each estimate and have a pretty good idea what the overall project will cost. They will usually come out for free, to give you an estimate, and you can decide to select one to do the work, even adjust some of the work if you want to decrease the job cost, and most of all, if you like, you are not obligated to have the work performed by any of them.
I hope this helps clarify the process of giving you an accurate cost estimate.
