Question

I need help with a biology experiment. Here is what I submitted and the response I got from the instructor, I do not understand how to change my experiment.Lab Activity—Fungi and Bacteria at Work-Materials-2–slices of white bread:2–slices of wheat bread:4–Ziplocs storage bags-Hypothesis: The white slice of white bread in the light will show evidence of bacteria/mold before the slice of wheat bread in the light. Both of the slices in the light will go bad before the slices that are in the dark.Method -Placed a slice of white bread #1 in Ziplocs bag it will stay out in the light.Placed a slice of wheat bread #2 in Ziplocs bag it will stay out in thelight.Placed a slice of white bread #1A & wheatin Ziplocs bag and whit will go into a dark area. area. Instructor response - 1. State your hypothesis in that allows you to test the affect of one specific factor variable on bread decays. Now you have two variables white vs wheat . Design the experiment that uses a control group and treatment group that eliminates all other variables except the one you are testing (as identified in by your hypothesis). Describe the experiment in enough detail that I could repeat it from your description. Include how you will set the experiment up so that only the variable you are testing is different between the two groups and all other conditions are exactly the same.
