Vibramycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic which is taken for various infection like;

 

1) Chancroid

2) Granuloma inguinale

3) Respiratory tract infections

4) Typhus fever

5) Rock Mountain spotted fever

6) Nongonococcal urethritis etc.

Yes, this is given for STDs. Chancroid and Nongonococcal urethritis are STDs.
