hello i have these small red pin sized dots on the end of my penies...thay are slightly raised and become more visabal when penise is erect..giving the head a rough texture when normally smoth...thay have been there for about two weeks..there is no pain or itchyness...no fluid..dose not hurt to urinate...i am worried about what it could be and have been avoiding sex with my girlfriend...we have been togther for 2 years but have just come back from a three month split about 2 mounths ago...where i had protected sex with other partners...i dont know about her i havent asked...can u please help me as i am very worried

Dear XXXXXXXX, Hello.The red spots may be secondary to a rare disorder,Lichen Nitidus.Tghe cause is unknown,small flesh coloured,reddish pinhead spots which do not itch/hurt.There is no known cure,and the problem should be ignored as it resolves spontaneously.However,it is imperative that you consult a Doctor,preferably a dermatologist who can examine you and rule out HPV/HSV,Fungal infections and any other disease.Penile/Genital warts may sometimes present like this.Please discuss these points with your Doctor/Dermatologist.

thank u...how long dose it last....and if penile warts how long between first signs of dots and out break of warts

Penile warts are usually secondary to Human Papilloma Virus.They may appear upto 18 months after infection.They may be difficult to trat and are treated by the doctor as a kin infection.
