Answer

Lets check your system for malware first.

1.) Click here to download Malwarebytes.
2.) Install Malwarebytes scanner, update program if it asks you too.
3.) Turn off the computer
4.) Turn on the computer and press F8 multiple times.
5.) A menu will appear - select "Safe mode with Networking"
6.) Windows Safe mode will open, then open MalwareBytes and scan your computer for bad programs and once it is done scanning, remove any threats.
7.) Once done, restart your computer and boot into regular windows.
8.) Problem should be fixed.

Accepted Answer

We don't have access to remote access tools unfortunately, but I can walk you through a number of possible solutions.

I would recommend the following:

  • Uninstall ANY programs you do not use or haven't used in a while and don't anticipate using. These will sometimes run in the background without you knowing it, taking up valuable processing capacity.
  • Temporarily shutdown any anti-virus you have running to see if these programs are hogging the CPU. (Feel free to disconnect from the internet while you do this if you don't feel comfortable operating temporarily without protection)
  • Disable any startup programs which start with your computer and you no longer need.
Try these out and let me know. This could also mean an overheating CPU, you may have dust inside the case causing problems. I would further recommend a different malware finder...Ad-Aware, install and run a full scan in safe mode.
