Info Request

Hi,
I can get that information for you.
First I will need you to provide me with the serial number for the radio.
You can obtain the serial number by removing the trim bezel around the radio and ac controller by pulling away. Once off, you should be able to see the white sticker on the top of the radio near the edge. If it is difficult to read you can slide the radio out a little bit to get a better view.
I need the number after "SERIAL NO."
If you can get the model number as well, that would help, but you must have the serial number.

Post it here and I will retrieve your unlock code and give you instructions to unlock the radio.

Thanks

Accepted Answer

Thank you.

Your code is 5114

Since your radio is now locked, you will need to do the following:
Place the key in the ignition and turn it to ACCESSORY.
Turn off the ac, headlights, or any other accessories that may be on and will deplete your battery.
Turn the radio on so that the display reads "OFF"
Close the doors
If your battery is marginal, you may want to put a charger on the battery.

Wait approximately 60 minutes (time varies between 40 and 90 minutes) and the radio display will turn off. When you turn it on again it will display "CODE" again and you can resume code entry.

To enter the code, use preset 1 to scroll through the first digit, preset 2 to scroll through the second digit, etc.
Once entered, press your unlock button (varies by model, but always either CD, AM/FM, or TAPE; no penalty for the wrong button)
Tthe radio will be reactivated.

If you have any questions or need clarification, just ask.

Thanks for using Just Answer. Please be sure to Accept the solution now or after your radio has unlocked so that I can get credit for my resources. Feedback is always welcome as well, and is reciprocated :)
