Info Request

Are you trying to replace the complete assemblies or just the motors?

Please let me know...

The motor and regulator are one assembly and must be replaced as a unit.

Answer

Okay, I was showing in my listings that they were able to replaced seperatly..

What I always end up doing is cutting the regulator to lower the window down to the point that I can work on it.

It doesn't matter that you cut it, your replacing it anyway....

when you say cutting the regulator just what do you mean?

Accepted Answer

The regulator looks like the picture below, correct?

If so, if you cut these cables that run from the motor to the bar that has the bracket that goes to the bottom of the window, this will allow the window to come down.

I end up having to cut almost all of the cables when replaceing the regulators. They seem to never fail in the lowered position...
