I want to know if this certificate of deposit is still valid. I want to know who do I contact to find out it's value. I want to know how to contact the National Rockland Bank of Boston. I want to know if I have 875 shares in GE stock dating back to 1934?

Answer

Your CD should be in effect. The precise value of same is something you would need to inquire with the bank. Whether anyone made claim to it again is a factual inquiry with the bank as well. I do not mean to be vague here but these are fact specific.

You only answered vaguely my first question. "Should be in effect" is too vague. Can't you give me a more definite answer?

Accepted Answer

I cannot provide a definitive answer on an asset unclaimed for 70 years. You have a claim to it and should contact the bank immediately to do so.
