If the loud noise is coming from the back area ...Then it would be your tub bearing...Not a simple fix...You would need to remove the complete tub and inner tub to acces the parts..The tub is connected to a spider shaft which rotates and balances thru the bearing...The bearing will start to wear slowly ...Over time it will really start to get louder and louder spinning unevenly.....Bob

thought it might be that bearing. should i replace the tub liner or rubber ring @ door opening to . do I need a diagram. dont mind doing the work. what would you ballprrk est..this job,if you were to fix..thanks once again ...ty
