Please clarify for me the tax implications and regulations on a 1035 exchange: Contract originally established in owner and annuitant same Owner changed to Family Trust since social security number remained the same At the time this contract was established joint annuitant options were not available and it can not be changed. Client wants to 1035 exchange the existing contract to a contract Trust Owner but joint annuitants. Is that possible? .
