I have a Whirpool microwave and oven combination, Model# RM770PXBQ1, and the microwave stopped working. You can select the cook time but when you press Start you hear a click like a relay, the light comes on in the microwave and the time begin to run down but nothing else happens. There is no sound. What is wrong with it.

the only way to test is to open control and listen to exactly where noise is coming from ,
But Again if nothing is running no Bake ,Broil clean ,Lights , the only thing powerd is the control .

You mentioned bake and broil clean. The oven is fine. It is the microwave that has the problem. The lights come on and the clock start running down, you hear the relay click but nothing else happens.

the control powers all the functions not just the microwave function!!
Which include ,bake ,broil and clean.

That is hard to believe because the oven works fine it is only the microwave that doesn't work. Furthermore, they both have seperate control panels and the oven panel displays its own functions.

two differant displays one control board ,all relays for all components are on the power relay board

The microwave control board must be seperate from the oven because I took of the microwave board and thr oven still works.

In the oven I see Model# RM770PXBQ1 but in the microwave there is a label with a number FSD4202268. The microwave label does not say model number.

OK I see what the issue is Whirlpools wiring diagram is wrong it shows one control .
But Sears parts break down shows an oven control and a microwave control .

So here is the MICROwave control part number .

The link you gave, Sears Parts Direct, says they or thier suppliers do not manufacture this part anymore. Do you know where else I can get the part or where I can have the existing one repaired.
