Question

hi ive got a johnson 40 vro 1990,it runs lovely but when it warms up it cuts out sometimes then starts straight away, sometimes it just loses power or misses at times,in the beginning it just felt as if someone pushed the throttle down and up but its getting worse and more frequent with time,ive cleaned the carbs but it feels more electrical,any ideas?,thanks nigel

When you cleaned the carbs what did you do? Did you install new sparkplugs? When it starts to miss what happens if you push the choke in at the time?
