Was she given pain meds after the surgery?
Is she eating for you and if so what are you feeding her?
Did the vet give you any diagnosis?
That is good news. I was fearful they had given her a pain med like Rimadyl and not told you to get right back with them if she had any side effects. Just like with people some dogs don't do well with pain meds of one type or another.
The pepcid helps with the irritation from that and the Metronidazole can help with intestiinal infections and is just a general soothing med for the digestive tract.
If you ever need a bland diet and don't have I/D on hand I would suggest trying boiled chicken meat or hamburger with the fat drained off, mixed with really well cooked rice in a ratio of 1/3 meat to 2/3 rice to see if that works. It's not a balanced diet but OK to use for a few meals while working on controlling digestive upset.
