i have a 2001 johnson 150 outboard motor runs great but when i take the motor to 4500rpms or more i get the check engine light to come on then i turn the motor off then i start it back up and she runs fine until i take it up to 4500 then the check engine light comes back on but if i stay at 4100 she will run all day i dont know what to do can you please help

The best thing to do will be to have it hooked up to an Evinrude dealers diagnostic computer to read the code to tell you for sure what it is. There are lots of things that could cause this.
