Sounds like you have a bad Crank Sensor possible a bad Mass air flow sensor.
Try unplugging the mass air flow sensor. (its the sensor on the intake hose located between the air box and the throttle body.)
If that does not fix the problem try this:
1. Check strength of spark with a round blade screwdriver - look for a good 1/2 inch minimum nice strong blue spark.
2. Put a timing light on it and verify that the ignition is firing consistently in time.
3. See if the engine will stay running on supplemental fuel, and if so, listen for the fuel injectors to click and operate.
4. If the engine runs on supplemental fuel and the injectors are clicking, check the Mass Air Flow Sensor.
5. Verify that the exhaust is clear.
6. Verify that the air inlet is clear.
