I would like to scan Word or Works documents that I printed, but lost in a hard drive crash. I would like to be able to do some editing, if necessary. Anything I scan comes out with pale blue color and I need it to look like a new document.

Additional Information: When I start the scan, it gives me 4 choices. Scan to: email, image, OCR, or file.

If I choose image it goes to a photo gallery which I cannot edit. OCR goes to Notebook and contains only gibberish. File goes to PDF which I cannot edit.

Accepted Answer

in any of format it will scan the document as a image, so in any case you have to edit the image, suppose you scan any file then after scanning in doc means it will not scan it into doc editabale form, it will just scan it into image and copy it to doc.s
in that case also you have to edit the image.so for editing any thing you have to have knowledge of editing the image tools like photoshop or coral draw...

hope you i am able to understand you
all the best
thanks
