Question

i have a 1996 seadoo gti. this past summer it would run at less than top speed and then it would stop and it would not start. the engine compartment was very hot. after not using it for two weeks, it started right up and did the same thing. i have not used it since thank you

Welcome to JA change your spark plugs first, you could have a water flow problem to a fueling issue. When you pull the spark plugs you need to read them. I would start with looking at the impeller in the ski and see if it has a ton of wear on it
