Question
Hi, I am just not getting statistics, could you please help me understand this problem? A student in an introduction to statistics wanted to study correlation. The student found 100 fellow students and chose 20 to wear a pedometer for a week and be weighed at the begining of the week. The two variables were used to calculate the Correlation Coefficient for the values. It was found to be -0.61. What does this tell us about the relationship of the variables?
