Hello , my name is Joel

I believe the fuel pressure should be 30 psi. min. - 45 psi for your engine.

If you remove the vacuum line from the fuel pressure regulator with engine running , then you should see a slight jump in pressure.

If you do drop the tank and replace the fuel filter , then be sure to inspect the inside bottom of the tank for rust that has settled to the bottom. This rust and crud can get sucked against the fuel pump sock in the tank , and slowly starve the engine while in travel.

It is also vary hard on a fuel pump to run against a plugged filter , so replacing the fuel pump may be a good idea - considering the age and miles.

Please let me know if you still have any concerns on this issue.

Thank you
-Joel
