Hi,

Possible reasons for low sperm count include:
Varicocele. This is a swollen vein inside the scrotum that can affect sperm production. This common cause of male infertility can be repaired with minor surgery.
Damaged sperm ducts.
Inherited conditions, infections, surgeries or injuries can damage the delicate duct system that carries sperm from the testicles into the penis.
Anti-sperm antibodies.
Men who have anti-sperm antibodies have an immune system response that attacks their own sperm. Common in men who have had a vasectomy reversal, this condition can also be caused by other problems such as an injury or infection.

I AGREE WITH DR BHUMIKA AND WISH TO ADD THAT BECAUSE OF INFECTIONS, PROSTATITIS IS VERY COMMON IN YOUNG MEN, AND ALSO EPIDYDMOORCHITIS WHICH IS CHRONIC IN NATURE ATTACK THE SPERM FACTORY RESULTING IN LOW SPERM COUNT. THE PROCESS IS COMPLETELY REMEDIFICABLE AND REVERSIBLE IF HIS INFECTIONS ARE CONTROLLED IN A HOSPITAL WITH DOING A TESTICULAR BIOPSY UNDER LOCAL ANESTHESIA AND SEEING THE RESULTS . THE BIOPSY HAS TO BE PRESERVED IN A SPECIAL FLUID AND THE INSTITUTE HAS TO HAVE THOSE FACILITIES. A PROSTATIC MASSAGE TAUGHT BY THE HOSPITAL DOCTOR ALSO IS HELP FUL TO EMPTY THE AREA OF INFECTION. ANTIBIOTICS ANTI INFLAMATORY , SMALL DOSES OF TESTOSTERONE AND HERBAL DRUGS FROM HIMALAYA DRUGS INCREASE SPERM COUNT . THE DRUG IS CALLED SPEMAN FORTE, I HOPE THIS EXTRA KNOWLEDGE WOULD BE HELP FUL TO YOU ALL. PLEASE ACCEPT IF YOU WISH.
