I have a 2001 Sentra. I'm told that the timing belt should be replaced at 90,000 miles. Is this true, and what would be approximate costs. Thank you.

Sentra GXE, 4-1800 l.8L DOHC

This vehicle has a timing chain.....not a timing belt and doesn't need to be replaced at 90,000 miles. It gets replaced when it wears out. This is normally more like around 150,000 miles (can be more). The cost of this repair is around $900.00
