Accepted Answer

If you were given an employee handbook which states how and why you can be fired, or if you have an employment contract, then you may only bee terminated in accordance with those douments, which are legally binding. Otherwise, you are considered an "at will" employee and may be terminated at any time, and in that case it does not do any harm to sign the letter.

I do not have a contract.

Are you telling that Leagally, they can fire me "with or without cause, and with or without notice". So it doesn't mater anyway?

By signing the letter do I forfiet any rights?
