I need to change my laptop from workgroup to something domini in other for my company adsl to connect

Answer

By default your computer is set up to be in a work group. If your laptop needs to be connected to a domain, you need a couple of things.

- You need to be connected to the same network that the domain controller is on. If this is a work network, you just need to plug in.
- You need the domain name. This can be provided by whoever runs the domain.
- You also need the proper account credentials (domain administrator account) in order to add your laptop to the domain.

Your local IT will be able to provide this info to you.
