Have you replaced headlight? or are you saying both dim lights dont work

ok I am going to produce some trouble shooting procedures. I think you need to replace the knob you turn the headlights on with thats the switch that just went out on me a couple of months ago with your symptoms

IF SWITCH IS BAD WOULD THAT CAUSE THE LIGHT NOT COME ON WHEN INGINTON SWITCH IS TURE ON

Yes you should be able to take it out and jump the wiring harness to get them to come on.
