Question

Have just got a 13 wk old male rabbit. Considering going back for a sibling. Will it be okay, when the other has a week to settle in? And if they can't be neutered till 6 months is their a danger of babies before that? Only have one hutch and wouldn't be able to separate them!!

Accepted Answer

Yes there is danger if you get opposite sex of them having babies before six months.

Females can be ready to breed as early as 5 months and you can read about that here

Here is info on a second rabbit yes or no

and a faq on introducing them
