Question

I have a 1998 rodeo. when I turn the headlights on the instrument panel won't light up. I replaced bulbs and still nothing. I checked the fuses, but don't really know what I am looking at. could someone please help me figure this out?

Answer

You probably have a bad dimmer switch. The switch that controls the brightness of the illumination lights can cause this problem if it is malfunctioning and needs replaced.

where is the cheapest place to get one? ebay?

ebay might be a good place. Also try rock auto . com. Not sure if they have it but they have cheap parts. It may be a dealer item only if so, ebay is probably your best bet.
