Dishwasher is tripping circuit breaker. i am an electrician and think it might be the element. where is it located, what is the easiest way to check?

motor etc is working, not sure what else would cause breaker to trip unless you could suggest something else?

can you recheck the model # its not comming up , look on the inside of the dish washer for a white or silver tag on one of the sides. thanks Bryan

the number is right 6 ADP 8540 IX, it doesnt have a 6 in front of the model number on the front of the machine though
