Hi XXXXXXXX. Thank you for asking your question on JustAnswer. The other Experts and I are working on your answer.

Disable or unistall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utiliities. Check your hard drive configarations, and check for any udated drivers. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

The Blue Screen of Death can be repaired with 3 types of Blue Screen Death Fix. These are simple solutions for someone who has a Do It Yourself computer and needs to know how to stop the blue screen error from appearing. If your computer was built for games and you don't have a DELL warranty, then hopefully, this quick fix can get your computer back into shape.

1. Uninstall any programs that you had installed recently. Sometimes, there is a conflict in drivers installed on your computer that causes the blue screen error to pop up. In most cases, this does not happen, but if it does, Windows provides you a roll back feature where you can bring your PC's operating system back to its original functioning state.

2. Random Access Memory is faulty.

When the Random Access Memory is faulty, the PC stops functioning everytime that area of the RAM is accessed by the CPU. This causes your PC to halt almost at Random. A simple process of elminination is just to remove 1 stick of RAM and see if the problem goes away. If it does, your PC is fixed!

3. Registry Errors

Over time, the registry of your windows gets cluttered with tons of information. If you experience slow down in your PC during boot up times, opening up of new folders, surfing windows, its likely your registry has a ton of information it needs to wade through. That being the case, its a good idea to get a good registry cleaner and improve the performance speed of your PC. Errors fixed in your registry can also prevent Blue screen error crashes.
