Question
I want to remove the wall that separates my kitchen& dining room which would enlarge the kit, remove old cabinets,put in new & more cabinets.This is a 1 story room. -do I need permits to remove the wall? Who does this? -do I need drawings fr a architect????

Most jurisdictions would require a permit since this work is structural. You don't need architectural drawings. If this were a load bearing wall you might need a beam design stamped by an engineer. But if the only thing the wall supports is ceiling joists then it's unlikely a stamped beam design would be required.
