Question

acat walked across a concrete deck floor the night it was put down. i filled the paw prints with concrete but they are now(about a month later) a darker grey then the rest of the floor. Will they become uniform in color with the rest of the floor? Is there any way to speed this up?

Answer

Thank you for using Just Answer!

The chances that the concrete will blend in and become an even shade are slim. If after a month the paw prints are still visible then they will likely remain. An option to consider would be to purchase some concrete paint and apply a couple coats to the concrete deck floor. Concrete paint is often used to cover discolorations and stains on garage floors, etc.....These products are readily available in the large supply stores.

thanks for responding. pawprints are not visible, but concrete i filled them with is A DIFFERENT COLOR

Accepted Answer

Yes, I understand that the actual pawprints are not visible. I recommended using the concrete paint so that the color differences in the concrete will be painted over. All you would see then is the color of the paint and not the different colors of concrete.
