Hi I have a 2002 Stratos XL19 with a 200 mercury motor and when I get it up to 63mph it will fish tail, can you help me with this Thanks Will

Hi Dave Yes on thr hyd steering it also has a trophy plus 24P prop and a 8" jack plate if that will help.

You may have air in your hydraulic line which allows the motor to "swing" . You prbably don't have much boat in the water at that speed, so it will move.

Dave, could it be anything else, and what would be the best way to bleed the air out of the system.

Can you move the motor by hand more than an inch or so without moving the wheel? That would be another check for air (or something loose). If it needs bleeding, it will be better to have it done by a dealer or shop - it takes special equipment and two people.
