If she didn't have fever yesterday, that may be why the doctor did not feel she had the flu. Also, if she had white spots on the back of her throat, that is more suggestive of strep throat, not the swine flu.

However, if she does not have white spots on the back of her throat and if she has been around people diagnosed with the swine flu, her symptoms can definitely be the swine flu. It is passing among schools pretty quickly.

I would call her doctor today and let him or her know that she now has a fever. Some doctors are testing for the flu and some are just starting on the antiviral medication Tamiflu without testing, depending on where you live and how prevalent the disease is in your area.

I understand your concerns. I would contact her doctor today.
