Question

Since having my baby 4 months ago by C-section I have felt pulsations in the lower left side of my abdomen as well as feel like something is moving (floating) inside. Usually very breif and almost feel like a babys kick. Mainly when I lay down on my back. No pain. But I have had a lot of lower back pain during my pregnancy and it continues to hurt. Should I be concerned?

Answer

Hello,

Your symptoms are not concerning at all. Though a physical examination by a doctor would be more conclusive, but a consideration of the irritable bowel syndrome may be done. The other possibilities can be gastroesophageal reflux disease, hiatus hernia or peptic ulcer disease.

Please feel free for your follow up questions.
