I think the control board has failed for the oven control. Because you're on such an important time line, I think it best that you call for a service person to diagnose the problem, and make arrangements to repair the problem. Even if the repair hasn't been completed at the time of the appraisal, the fact that you've taken action, will be viewed the same as working properly.
