Question

My Lennox furnace, model #G12Q4E-137-6, won't start. It seems the electronic pilot isn't getting current. Occasionally it will pulse three or four times but that's it. Is this something I can fix myself, or am I calling in an expert. Thanks, Steve

Hi Steve,

You can try cleaning the electrodes with a piece of emery cloth. After that you are probably looking at a new ignition control and the replacement control is probably not a straight change out, wiring-wise. Not an easy task for a DIY project unless you are electrically inclined and can follow a schematic proficiently.

Thanks

Mark
