it is a honeywell digital. all the controls on it is the up down to set temp.

there is just up arrow and down arrow. i don't know if cover comes off or not. afraid to break. it just digital screen with temp.and to right the up and down buttons that is all

ok, now this is not meant to sound silly - but are you sure it is a heating and cooling thermostat?

we have just been in this house since june. this is the only thermostat that i can find. if it only for cooling how would you get heat

Ok, well this is humbling. You have me stumped. Could you remove the top section off the subbase and look for a model number?

i cannot remove the cover. i have tried and afraid that iwill break it. this house isonly 6 years old soit can't be outdated. sorry you can't help me.
