Hello,

The model number of your scanner should be located on a sticker on the front or bottom of the scanner. You can find out what version of Windows you are running by clicking here.

Hello,

Please try the following steps to try initiating a scan from your computer and let me know how it works for you.

1. Click Start.
2. Click All Programs / Accessories / Scanner and Camera Wizard.
3. Click Next in the lower-right corner of the new window that appears.
4. Choose the Picture type that best matches what you are scanning.
5. Click Next in the lower-right corner.
6. Type a name for your scan, leave the file format as JPG, and select a folder to save the scanned image in.
7. Click Next in the lower-right corner.
8. Select Nothing. I'm finished working with these pictures and click Next in the lower-right corner.
9. Click Finish in the lower-right corner.

Let me know how that works for you,
