Question

The oil pressure on my 2008 MX5, with 2,100 miles, appears somewhat low at low rpm's and increases with the rpm's to about 3 markers below the high point on the gague. It varies quickly with the change in rpm's. Is this normal? Should I be alarmed? Thanks, XXX, XXXXXXXXX, XX

Gauges and sensers do vary a little at times, so its quite possible this is the case with your vehicle. Since this vehicle is under warranty I'd have the dealer manually check your oil pressure to make sure everything is ok just to be safe. I hope this helps you out.
