Info Request

Hello XXXXXXXXXXXX, and thank you for your question.

Could you provide a link to this company? I'm finding too many different companies with similar names. A link will help me to research the correct company for you.

Thank you.

The internet site for this business is inweddingdress.com. I know that it is based overseas somewhere. They sell already or custom made wedding apparel. You can chat with someone live if you want (through a chat line) and ask any question that you want about their products. Before I order a wedding and bridesmaid dresses, I wanted to check out the business if at all possible.

Hello XXXXXXXXXXXX, and thank you for your question.

On the bright side, there seem to be no negative reports at all about this company on any well-established consumer information sites.
I also located no complaints on any Better Business Bureau site.
However, this lack of negative reports should not necessarily be construed to mean that customers have had great experiences with the company.
A clean record can just as easily mean that the company is very young, and sometimes even that a company has recently changed its identity (sometimes in order to put a checkered history behind them). And a lack of a BBB record often just means that the business is not registered in any US state.

What worries me more than the lack of a history is that I did find many *seemingly* positive reviews about inweddingdresses.com on a lot of different and random online forums. But most of these reviews are remarkably alike - enough so to make me suspect that most, if not all, are written by the same person. There is a pattern that these posts all tend to follow, in which a poster with no previous history on a site will post either a question or a positive review about inweddingdress.com, and then another new member to that forum will nearly immediately answer with a concurring positive review. These reviews all tend to share distinct and consistent formats and grammatical mistakes.

So, my assessment is that this is a company with no verifiable history or track record at all, either positive or negative.
You will need to weigh whether to trust an important occasion and expensive purchases to a company with no reputation. If the products and prices offered by inweddingdress.com are very attractive to you, and if you can afford to risk trying this company, then it may be worth it to try them.
Is your timeline long enough to try ordering just one or two items from them to see how they do, before you entrust them with a large, expensive order? Are your budget and schedule flexible enough to weather any problems that might result in terms of receiving your items on time and receiving items of the quality expected?
These are the things you need to ask yourself when dealing with a company with no history.

I hope this information is helpful, and if so please click the green "ACCEPT" icon as this is the only way that I am compensated through JustAnswer.
Feel free to ask additional related questions.
Thank you.
