You should first check your fuel inlet to the VRO pump for an air leak.
Install a piece of clear line between the engine fitting and the VRO fuel inlet and run the engine both at low speed and wide open throttle checking this line for signs of air coming in. If there is air in the line, find and correct the leak, It will correct your over-oiling VRO pump.
If you find no signs of air in the fuel line then sadly the VRO pump is once again, or still. at fault. BRP has just recently corrected the latest of a long string of issues with these pumps. They carry a one year warranty. Have the dealer you purchased it through submit it back to Evinrude for warranty.
