Will a 2.3 liter engine from a 1998 - 2002 Honda Accord fit in a 1999 Honda Civic that had a 1.6 liter engine in it? If so, what will I need to purchase if anything and what will I have to do? Any modifications needed?

Hi, I am sorry to say it is not a compatable engine for a Civic. You will need to get 1996 -200 civic engine for your car

Im sorry . I ment to say that the engines from a 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999 or 2000 Civic will fit in your car.

Can your answer be sent to me in an email. I was doing this for my grand son, who doesnt have a way to make the payment. I will be making the payment because it was worth it to know what engines will work.
