Answer

Helllo,

Your cat needs to be treated with Advantage, Frontline or Revolution from your vet. Flea collars are not effective, and any flea treatments bought over the counter are not only ineffective, but can be harmful to your cat's health.

Grooming daily and cleaning/vacuuming is great! You're doing all the right things, but your cat needs the most effective flea treatment or the problem will not be resolved.

Also, try bathing your kitten with warm water and a few drops of original Dawn blue dishwashing liquid or any name brand you use. Rinse well with clear water and towel dry. You may also considering hiring a professional exterminator specializing in flea removal, to treat your home and/or garden/yard if applicable. If you're located in the US, Fleabusters is a good company. www.fleabusters.com

I hope things improve very soon.
