Question

We have bought a home in the Courtview Allotment in Carrollton Ohio - we are interested in putting in a vinyl fence to enclose our pets. What is the building code on this? Larry Malvern Oh

A fence is not a structure and therefore is not subject to building codes. There are other authorities which do regulate fencing. They are your local Zoning Commision, and if you live in a deed restricted community-your Homeowners Association. These are entities you must deal directly with.
