That being the case - it could be that its just the centre nut that holds it that is loose for some reason - maybe someone has had it off before and forgotten to tighten it properly - it does happen..

You will need to remove the airbag to do get to the nut to tighten it.

To do that - you need to first disconnect the battery on the van - and leave it for 30 mins before touching it -to allow the air bag system to discharge... then you can remove the air bag with the securing screws from behind - then check / tighten the nut..

If you find thats tight - you then need to check the steering column down -check its mountings and the universal joints on the steering couplings..
