I have a 2002 kia rio rs, recently my dash light went, just the light bulb to see your speedomoter. I can see the icons etc. now both my tail lights went out. I have checked all the fuses, they are fine. what can be the matter? what should I check first.

If is not the bulbs, what then? Is it possible both tail lights would go out the same time?

Accepted Answer

It happens more than you think. If blubs are OK, Check the sockets, If OK and all fuses are OK the lelt tail light fuse and the right tail light fuse and the TNS fuse are good. Check for power at the red/green wire at left tail light and the blue/black wire at the right tail light. If no power check the TNS relay. If ok the problem is in the DRL system and you will need to take it to the repair shop. Lee
