THe blue screen code is 0x000000ed cant even do a system restore

Hello. This STOP error means there is trouble with the filesystem on Windows XP. To fix this you will need to insert your Windows XP CD and run the recovery console. You will need to use this command to check the disk and then repair it: chkdsk /r After this is done, your computer should be repaired. Just to let you know, his computer did come back to life but he could not get on his internet browser. Fortunately his itune account automatically updated and offered him a new browser, which he is now using. Is there anything else he could have done in this case to restore the internet?
