Thank you,Augmentin can be used as long as you are not allergic to penicillin.Anyone who takes augmentin can get yeast infections, and diabetics are at a higher risk of this-especially if your sugars are uncontrolled.Most of the time, colds are caused by viruses and antibiotics are not helpful. It sounds like you may have a virus.
